The increase in the prices of vignettes is postponed by one month
The adopted change in toll rates related to the use of the republican road network is approved byDecree No. 370.The decree was adopted by the Council of Ministers in 2019 and was originally supposed to enter into force on April 1, 2025. The entry into force of this change has been postponed by one month by decision of the competent authorities.The change will take place in two separate stages to ensure a smoother transition into the new tariffs.The first stage of the toll price increase will begin on May 1, 2025.The second stage of the introduction of the new tariffs is planned to start on September 1, 2025.The second change in tariffs is related to a change in the values of compensatory fees and maximum toll fees for cars over 3.5 tons.It will also take effect at the same time in the same manner.–from 1 May 2025 and from 1 September 2025.
The new vignette fee rates to be introduced from 1 May 2025 are as follows:
- Weekend vignette: BGN 10
- Weekly vignette: BGN 15
- Monthly vignette: BGN 30
- Three-month vignette: BGN 54
- Annual vignette: BGN 97
When purchasing a vignette before May 1, 2025, regardless of the start date of validity, the old price will be charged.After May 1, 2025, all vignette sales will be made at the new prices.
